About the Minimums Desk

Checked October 8, 2026

By the Minimums Desk

The Minimums Desk writes and signs this guide. That is a collective name, not a person, and the site carries no personal byline. It explains published table minimums and when they apply, never the chances at a table.

What the desk does

The Minimums Desk is a collective name, not a person. Under that name, the guide builds a week chart for the five GTA casinos. Each published minimum sits on its own rail, with hours shown where the casino publishes them and nowhere else. Where hours are printed near a minimum without saying which tables they cover, the chart marks them as unclear. Minimums change, so each one carries the date it was checked.

Five casino pages, starting from Elements Casino Mohawk at Campbellville, follow the same pattern. A casino that publishes no minimum is shown as not published. One with no live tables is shown that way too. Every block repeats one rule: the minimum bet is not a budget. The budget is set before leaving home.

How each check works

Each published minimum and set of table hours is checked on the casino's own page. The Minimums Desk records the exact wording and the date of the check. The site's figures were checked over two days: October 7 and 8, 2026. Other sources are Woodbine's Mohawk pages, OLG, iGaming Ontario, the AGCO, ConnexOntario and PlaySmart.

Where a casino publishes no minimum, the site says 'not published' and shows no amount. No amount is ever estimated in its place. Minimums change more often than hours. At Elements Casino Mohawk, table minimums are based on business needs and game demand for that day. A minimum more than 30 days old is rechecked before the site shows it again.

Independent of the casinos

Low Limits works as an independent guide. It does not operate a casino, take bets or open accounts. The home page alone carries paid links; every one is marked Ad, and their shared destination is one online casino partner. This site gets a commission from them, and a different partner could take their place. This page and the other inner pages have no paid links.

This site receives no money from casinos, OLG, the province or help services. Readers are offered no rewards. The home page links are for people physically located in Ontario.

Pictures on these pages

Frosted glass steps and rails are three-dimensional pictures made with an image generator; they stand for table minimums and show no casino. The Pickering Casino Resort slot floor is a 3D render, made with an image generator from a real photograph of the room. Four pictures are free-licence photographs from Wikimedia Commons: entrances at Casino Ajax, Woodbine Mohawk Park and the Woodbine Gate 11 building, plus the floodlit Mohawk infield at night. Two were edited: the Gate 11 billboard and lit panel were blanked, and the horses removed from the night track photo. Author and licence sit under each, changes are in the Image sources list below, and the Minimums Desk takes no photographs itself.
