Of the five casinos in this guide, Casino Ajax has no live table games listed, so live dealers are absent there entirely. Electronic tables appear at other GTA casinos too, including Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto and Pickering Casino Resort.
Casino Ajax: no live dealers
Casino Ajax provides electronic table games alongside 500 slot machines. The operator's listing for this venue shows no live table games, so no table minimum is given here. The casino stays open around the clock, every day. For holiday hours, look at the venue's own website.
Whatever the machine accepts, a minimum bet is not a budget. The budget is set before leaving home, and it stays the same on any screen. Entry is for people 19 and over.
Electronic tables elsewhere
Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto lists electronic table games for roulette, blackjack, baccarat, craps, sic bo and Lucky Big Wheel. Pickering Casino Resort has 50+ electronic table games beside 90+ table games. It describes its electronic tables as having lower betting limits, without giving amounts. Pickering publishes no table minimums at all, so this guide marks them not published.
At Elements Casino Mohawk, the published table limits are a $5 minimum for low limit and a $20 minimum for Level 1. On Sunday the $5 tables open at 2 PM; from Thursday to Saturday, they open at 6 PM. The operator says minimums there depend on business needs and game demand for that day. A lower limit is not a budget. The budget is set before leaving home.
How points work on these tables
Great Canadian Rewards works at all five casinos in this guide. Reward Points are earned on slots and electronic table games. They are not earned on live table games. Comp Dollars are earned on all three: slots, electronic tables and live tables.
So a player at Casino Ajax can earn both kinds on its machines, with no live table in the mix. Points do not change the budget, which is set before leaving home. A minimum bet is not a budget either.
Questions
Is an electronic table the same as a live table?
They are counted separately. Great Canadian Rewards gives Reward Points on electronic tables but not on live tables. The table minimums in this guide refer to live tables. Pickering gives no amounts for its electronic tables.
Does Casino Ajax have poker?
No live table games are listed by the operator for Casino Ajax, and no poker room is listed there. Electronic table games and 500 slot machines fill its floor. Elements Casino Mohawk has a poker room open Thursday to Sunday, 12 PM to 4 AM. Great Canadian Toronto runs one 24/7. For holiday hours, check with each venue's own site.
